It’s been snowing sporadically here in Bristol – sometimes large flakes, sometimes small, sometimes mixed with rain, sometimes not.

Interestingly, every flake appears to be different in appearance – as if each one is unique.

Boom! It hit here today. Knee deep around work site. Proper good snowball fight with the guys today. And my staff decided to climb on the roof, wait for me to exit the building and off-load the contents of the roof with well timed accuracy on my head. I was floored. I think I came close to feeling what it is like in an avalanche…

There has been no new snowfall in the last 24 hours. Still chilly though.

Disappointingly,

we’ve still not been snowed-in (2cm last week not really enough),
the army haven’t been out on the streets,
nor indeed have we suffered any sort of -20°C ARCTIC BLAST!!.

Been away working all week. There was snow when I left. It is still here. Snowman has reduced in size by about 20% in the four days – I will take a more accurate measurement after lunch.
