Here’s mine: 2012 Flash Alloy. It’s great. Got my eye on a full susser for next year, but need to save up the bucks! Flash Alloy atop the Chevin by wobbliscott, on Flickr
This was mine for almost an hour. But I am building one up as an Xmas present to Me… In a bigger frame size.
Those are 29 x 3.0 wheels, they are big, but in this picture it looks like a 26er?
Great set up for Ashton court. The big wheels roll fast, the big foot print means higher cornering speeds, 1×10 is handy in places, and at Ashton, really no need for telescopic suspension, damned big tyres were fine.
Mpw… Yep a surly krampus, with the pre production yokes (actual bikes will have more clearance) . Damned muddy race, and no tyre clearance issues what so ever.
I mention It in this high quality, big budget video….. You can see there are no mud issues going on….
Is that the tube sticking out through the internal rim-cut outs there Charlie? (The atmospheric no-expense-spared blurry effect you’ve put on that video makes it hard to see). What is a ‘rabbit hole rim’?
Another Inbred. Want to put some flat bars on, but otherwise liking it at the moment. I probably should have bought an 18″ frame, but i already had a 400mm seat post so it’s not a massive issue.
750mm, so that’s a good 25% more than the ETT. (60mm stem flipped and slammed). The jury’s still out on this setup to be honest.
I’ve put a 2.35 Hans Dampf on the front, it was brilliant for ploughing straight through the mud and 6 inch deep puddles on Saturday in Surrey. It’s basically a singlespeed tractor. Point and go.
