My hound would be devastated if the UK went catless. I don't suppose the moggy would be too impressed either.

I like cats, some dogs and many dog owners annoy me but live and let live

I'm a cat owner and would accept a ban if sensibly implemented. They are murderous little bastards!

Yes absolutely otherwise the government can track our behaviour through cat microchips.

No

First they came for the cats, and I did not speak out,

Because I was not a cat owner.

Yes. The different denominations of cat are confusing for the layperson. And also the existence of cats is liberal claptrap. Also how often do you see people begging with cats? Makes you think.

No. Keep the cats, get rid of the humans.

Get rid of the humans and there's no-one to feed the cats.

Keep them inside and there’s no issue, prosecute those who allow their cats to kill wildlife. I didn’t allow my dog to kill birds, rabbits, etc.

What about Scottish wild cats?

They no longer exist!

We should put it to a referendum, that usually ends well.

I used to watch an environmentally concerned old boy on the telly in Australia whose message was 'turn your cat into a hat'. Makes you think, particularly this time of the year.

From a farm: emphatic NO!   Also I like my regular mouse inspection from next door's cat.   Checks the flat out regularly to make sure we are not harbouring illicit wildlife.

Has Dundee moved on from croc hats and waistcoats?

They no longer exist!

Having seen one of the local wildcats "in the wild", I'd not mistake it for any sort of domestic cat.

Nope. Mine does a fine job of keeping the mice population under control.

We also get 100s of birds in the garden. This week at one point about 45 chaffinch and 20 goldcrest on the feeders.

Only if the US goes fratless.

And I can carry frocks.

I'd fit a sports cat, you get almost the same results and remain able to pass even an exacting MOT. More expensive though.

Though cats poop less amounts and pretty much do their own thing like a trusty Volvo.

We need less toxic poop in the world though admittedly I would like a woofer. Just too much hassle looking after myself let alone another living organism

Only 4 of which were actually left alive. 😉

Like Roger's Profanisaurus is a 'hilarious' parody of Roget's Thesaurus?
