    Hello,

I want to replace the shock mounting hardware top and bottom (as I think there is a little wear) on my Transition Scout which has a Rockshox Monarch fitted.

I have measured the pins as 21.8mm long with a 12.7mm outer diameter and an M6 internal thread. As well as the pin itself there are two slide on ‘tophats’.

Please could someone give me a link for these exact parts. I have tried to order it once before from CRC but ended up with the wrong thing.

    Thanks in advance.

    Easy enough to call http://www.tftuned.com/

There are other suspension specialists out there (apparently)

tell them what bike you have and they will send them

Dont have to get offset ones

i think the hole is 12.9 mm standard on all shocks anyway so they only need to know the size of the bolt and the length of the thread

Some companies use tophats some dont they dont not sure what difference it makes as the bush in your shock wears anyway – I use plastic there as i would rather replace them than shock hardware
    YMMV

Best is to ditch top hats and get a heavy duty mount kit.

Though I can’t see the heavy duty kits now http://www.tftuned.com/shock-mount-hardware/c3
