The headset on my Scott spark is on it’s way out.

What are my options for replacements?

    Where can I get replacements?
Got any pics of what the inside of the headtube looks like? I’m not sure my headset remover tool will work. It’s not clear which bits are frame and which are headsets

Be very careful taking the cups out, they sit on a carbon shelf which you could tap out by mistake. Not replaced mine yet, but when I bought the frames I was warned about removing the cups….

I just bought replacement bearings for my scale and dropped em in. Think it has an FSA in it. Got them from CRC. No point having flash headset as most of it is hidden

First off you should never have to remove the alloy cups, which are pressed in to the frame – these are only what the bearings sit against, hence wear on them should be abosultely min imal (unless you’re riding around with a loose headset). The best headset/bearings I’ve found is the Hope.

I fitted the FSA ones into my carbon Scale, sorry I can’t remember which particular model of headset. No need for headset tools or hammers, just lift the bearings out.

I think the original bearings had the FSA code on.

Yep – the Hope bearings will just drop straight in as well.
