Great video! Really enjoyed that. Proper garage and bike fettling (check your tools!) and lovely part of the world to cycle in. I stopped off for a couple of nights to see some friends “glamping” in funny Norwegian wooden tent things and really liked the area. Perfect Sunday night video…

Oh and its revived my drop bar 29er obsession too 😕

How do you find it compared to your Karate Monkey if you were running the same tyres? (if that makes sense!)

andyh2; the bike is very similar to the KM and it is the wheels/tyres originaly fitted to that bike. headtube is higher for the drop bars and riding on the hoods is real comfy, and feels quicker on the road with the drops into a breeze 🙂

I dont want to hijack this with sales nonsense, but salsa are clearing the 2012 Fargo, making room for 2013… So I have dropped the price by a fair old whack. Here is the Link.

Very jealous of both man cave the the riding you down there. You’re just down the road, but those east Lothian beaches are just superb.

Charlie, can I get a fist bump for sending Joe from Norway to you for his Fargo? 😀

Love my Fargo (the 1st generation rigid only version). Did a 47 mile ride today and it’s just sooo comfy. Big Apple 2.35 tyres make for an awesome ride. Salsa Bell Lap bars are great as well. No having to look out for potholes as it ploughs through anything in its way.

Headtubes a bit fugly to some on my XXL but i love it.

Squidlord running 55 psi yest but with pressures dropped it should be fine on rougher stuff, i will find out soon 🙂

That statue is of poet James Hogg – The Ettrick Shepherd

Headsup… I will check what’s available in the morning.
The frames are cream, come with cream forks, but I could swap those out for black.

Love the video, that’s the sort riding I do on my Van Dessel. Just would be nice to have your countryside on my doorstep. What do you think of the twin rails?.

    coastkid
    Free Member

The twin rails are a bit heavy esp with stans juice also in the tubes but they roll very well. They are ideal for winter here where i will be mostly commuting then riding rough roads and gravel tracks. will not be near much deep mud on them.
They give a real comfy ride with the big volume 🙂

Nice vid and nice bike. I nealy bought a Fargo but went for a Gryphon instead, I don’t think there’s too much between them. Superb for that kind of stuff, just getting out there and riding 😀
