I think I recall it being mentioned as fine to run proper tubeless tyres on Mavic Kysrium rims, especially since they don’t have nipple/spoke holes in the rim bed?

I wouldn’t trust normal tyres obviously but with a tubeless tyre.  Does the rim hook/profile make a significant difference to the tubeless set up??

Ran tubeless Hutchinson Fusion tyres on Ksyrium SL for years, no problems

Probably won’t stay on the rim as well as a proper tubeless rim in case of a puncture, but as I never had a puncture can’t say for sure

Thanks CrazyBaboon, yeah, not expecting it to be as good puncturewise but so long as they don’t fall off or blow off mid ride!

They are perfect for tubeless. Easiest I have ever mounted and never had an issue
