    I’ve watched the videos and think I’ve got my plan of attack, but any gotchas / experiences I should be aware of?
    Also, will cross cutting cable cutters be ok for cutting the hose?

    Just one tip, make sure you leave enough length in the hose so you can pull the post all the way out once it’s fitted, just in case you need to access the hose attachment or clean the seat tube out for example.
