    Hi folks

I’ve come to the conclusion that my Shimano BR-M7120 SLX 4 piston caliper at the rear is very subtly leaking brake fluid which is contaminating the pads & rotor. It’s nearing £70 to replace the caliper but before going to that level of expenditure I’d like to try replacing the piston seals or the pistons & seals if necessary. So where can I get replacement seals?

    Cheers

Not from shimano.  there was a post the other day with a link to some 3rd party seals.

Here’s the link from the other thread for Zee callipers. I do not know if they are the same size seals as the SLX 7120

Thanks, yeah the list of calipers includes mine. They’re from China and seen a few like that. Might give them a pop, nothing ventured nothing gained…

I used eBay seals and the usual transfer port o ring to refurbish mine and they’ve been A1 since. Cost about £3 IIRC.
