Beasts of the Southern Wild – excellent.

Rust and Bone – good.

The Master – not as good as it thinks it is.

Moon – A quiet adult SF with the voice of kevin space and the body of sam rockwell x2, got 8.0 on imdb

Very good dark British comedy. One of the best I’ve seen in a while.

Not really the same kind of movie, but I thought Nitro Circus the movie was the best I’ve seen this year.

I’m with DezB and Rusty Spanner, have just watched the Girl with Dragon Tattoo/Played with Fire/Kicked the Hornets Nest trilogy on C4. Having now watched all three films, the first becomes so much better! Really is a case of the whole being greater than the sum of it’s parts.

‘Tokyo Godfathers’ -somewhere between Tekkonkinkreet and Ponyo – a Xmas movie where three homeless folk find an abandoned baby…

Flight of the navigator is on BBC 2 – one of my favourites of all time. I hope it’s as good as I remember it.

it is indeed, just finished.
watched it with my 6 year old lad and we loved every second of it.

@Andl – I love Flight of the Navigator! Bought the DVD recently, and yep, it was as good as I remember it!
