A Royal Affair is brilliant. Definitely worth seeing.

Though fatally flawed in concept, badly cast and woodenly directed I actually enjoyed Rock of Ages. Mainly because my expectations were set low.

Oh, I forgot The Last Starfighter – t’was on one of the sky channels the othe night.

Just finished watching Looper.. worth watching IMO.

I thought Looper was great as well – flawed – but a good yarn

Funniest film of the year has been Ted, whilst most surpisingly funny film was the Muppets (I’m highly embarrassed about admitting this..)

I also thought Premium Rush was good – the first bike specific movie i’d seen since BMX Bandits

Been watching nothing but films this christmas as my ribs are shattered and the whole family is ill.

Worst film was Bourne legacy, which was pointless. I enjoyed Spiderman 3 which I’d not watched due to its poor reviews much more than the amazing spiderman which was a bit meah.

‘Searching For Sugarman’. Watched it on DVD this afternoon. Went to see Rodriguez in concert in November with a good South African biking chum. He was in tears during show and he was close to tears ths afternoon watching it as Rodriguez meant so much to him as a teenager. must admit Rodriguez was/is fooking amazing. See the film, listen to the tunes, great stuff

Waltz With Bashir. Quite a deep, almost disturbing film, but a very weird mix of realism and surrealism caused by the cartoon nature of the film. Worth a watch I’d say.
