Yeah me too – and The Snowman pop up (not sure if the musical page still works though) along with various of his original books.

His work still cuts through. A proper hero.

I seldom comment on RIP threads but I’ll make an exception here. His work had a real influence on me, most especially The Tinpot Foreign General and the Old Iron Woman.

Some men were shot.

Now Ethel & Ernest, the film of his autographical book. I don’t think I’ll be able to watch it all 🥺

When the Wind Blows up there with Watership Down for a source of childhood trauma. Can’t wait to watch them both with my kids! RIP Raymond, the psychological scars will stay with me, but in a good way.
