the freewheel/sprocket hybrid is going to be a pain in the arse to hunt down when it wears out and might even write the hub off

true, but there was a bunch of them in stock as well, and most singlespeed bikes don’t get a huge amount of pedalling per year compared to other bikes

As Wiggle and CRC are gone I’ve removed the pages I made for tracking stock, I hope they were useful while they lasted.

Since a few people seemed to like it, I’ve applied the ultra-simple interface to Leisure Lakes here:

Lego tastic bargain 34% off £380.

Deal of the day: LEGO 42146 Technic Liebherr Crawler Crane LR 13000 Set, Build the Ultimate Remote Controlled Construction Vehicle with Control+ App, Winch System and Luffing Jib, Large Model for Adults, Men, Women https://amzn.eu/d/afkGGlR

It was inevitable really. Just days after looking at a bargain truing stand in my wiggle basked and deciding “I don’t really need this”…

I discover a massively out of true rear rim on my road bike! And I haven’t ridden it in nearly 3 weeks, so it definitely occurred whilst they were still available.

You really don’t need a wheel truing stand anyway, it’s barely any different doing it in the frame with cable ties, just a wee bit less convenient to set up.

This might be the ultimate man maths.

I just looked at those quicklinks and thought ‘ooh, that’d be handy’ – then realised I needed to spend £25 for free delivery, and wandered off to do something else.

Then I saw the LEGO Liebherr crane and thought ‘ooh if I bought that I’d get free delivery on the quicklink’.

Not sure MrsMonkey would accept that justification tbh.

@walowiz yet you still thought youd add to there work load by chasing an order

Using the links in the confirmation email, I contacted CRC this morning and my order is still on track, as most are probably to be fair. With a lot fewer staff and a high volume of orders, it can clearly take a while to get through the backlog, which is understandable.

Re the quick links. Free next day delivery with Prime. As I have prime it doesn’t show any other delivery options.  Maybe the free trial might be available.  IDK

Blimey, have they got some stock of EMTBs!

Can’t remember who shared those thumb wrenches, but thank you.

Swapped out the screw bits for hex bits, they’ve already proved useful.

Have a virtual beer on me. 😉

Agreed that list of E Bike stock that LL still hold is frightening! Surely they’d be mad to order in any 2024 bikes?

Thanks for that @wooderson, just hope medium is the medium/large as stiff had stuffed up the size names Vs size guide.

Fasthouse have some cheap short if you’re a 30 or 32″ waist. No idea what they’re like but I’ve ordered a pair in both sizes, assuming they don’t get cancelled.

Do they have zipped upper pockets as well? Can’t stand zipped lower pockets on MTB shorts, silly place to put anything.

This might have been posted already, but seeing the growing desire for punpntrack riding here thought it might be of interest.

£90 for a cruiser! I’ve just bought one, but you can also get a 20” bmx for the same price

What’s the inside leg on the Zenith shorts?  (size medium preferably but anything will give a guide).  I’m tall so looking for longer leg

You’re not kidding. I bought 5 pairs of the Nukeproof Women shorts in L which feel exactly like the men’s in M. In fact they’re a better fit which may or may not be such good news 😂.

    £4.50. Each of course.

Getting a 404 message when I click on Ribble’s parts/accessories section.  Bought a few little bargains off of there recently.

    Wonder what’s going on there?
