they’re nice, but needlessly fiddly for a bike bottle, needing a spare hand rather than your teeth to open. and I’m not keen on the little collecting hole for mud and whatever else is on the trail.

I found this while I was on there. A quid or so more, nice to drink from, no plastic taste and “shit-begone!” lid (that you don’t need any spare hands for). I’ll order a couple more, I think.

You don’t need to turn the valve on and off every time you drink from it on the bike. I only turn to off when using it not on the bike transporting/in bags etc to absolutely prevent leaks.
