had a back in stock alert on the maxxis 29er 2.5 WT 3C Assegai tyres @ £49
gone up a fiver since last years purchase, but £75 elsewhere on backorder, so a fair enough deal.

log into your merlin account and points mean prices 100 points = £5 off £75,
so tell your mates what a great tyre it is then save yourself £2.50 to a £Fiver

slightly cheaper than my car tyres :0)

ERrrrrr I think maxxis are too rich for me if this is considered a PSA 😀

Says they are MaxxGrip and MaxTerra is the description – handy

I think the exo only comes in maxxterra not maxxgrip? But the exo+ has a maxxgrip.

I’d sooner have exo but if the choice is exo maxxterra or exo+ maxxgrip it’s a no-brainer imo, maxxgrip is just plain better for this sort of tyre.

Would make sense. Would be pretty surprised if they were MaxxGripp anyway

That’s what I thought Northwind. Just wishful thinking because MaxxGrip mentioned in the description (really want an EXO MaxxGrip for the front for winter, and at launch I asked Maxxis and they said they were planned… years later and no sign yet).

Yup, I just ordered 2 from R2! One for mate, one spare for me. Cheers frogstomp👍. £44 delivered after splitting del.
However, I use the Maxxterra on front of my HT in summer and find that almost as good as maxxgrip tbh
