When you buy a new headset does it include a crown race?

In my experience, it usually does. I've not read all the thread, but it appears that lots of people are keen to help you out by keeping this in the public eye.

Aye, and the headset on a Trek Madone doesn't come with a crown race as the carbon is molded into the shape of a race. So there!
