do i really need to use centre lock hubs on a pompetamine?

centre lock hubs are expensive 🙁

Thinking of building it up with a 6-bolt MTB SS hub, rather than a (centre lock) Alfine?

It’s on my list of things to try on mine next summer, so interested in this.

who said you do have to? I have 6 bolt front and back on mine and have done for the last year+. haven’t died yet… 😆 😯

XT hub on the front, WTB Laser Disc on the back, by the way.

ah right, well i’ve had no fork clearance issues or anything else like that since building mine. 160mm 6 bolt rotors front and rear.
