theres a path on the map (which looks like a decent width track on satellite view) running down from the top of kirkstone pass to ambleside on the other side of the beck to the struggle road.

Anyone ridden down this as a cheeky descent into ambleside, will i get shouted at / chased by angry farmer if i do it in an evening?

Yeap you will pretty much definitely get a telling off from the farmer, know to be very anti cycling. shame though as it would be a very useful trail.
