I like most of Tarantino’s work and really love a few. Been looking forward to this one a lot and there’s still a long time to go, but the photos of Margot Robbie as Sharon Tate have made me even keener for the time to pass.

I watched the Hateful 8 this week, thought it was about 60 minutes of story dragged out thrice. Self-indulgent to the extreme*.

Inglorious is my favourite film ever

Is it loosely based on the Manson family murders? I love tarantino but I can’t get the jist of the film from the trailer

The trailer is to make you want to see the film. It works on me.

Oh yeah the plot: Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio are buddies in 1969 Hollywood. That’ll do.

As much as I pray for it to happen, Brad Pitt still doesn’t appear to have become old, fat and ugly.
Guess that means Mrs Squad will be dying to see it too.

They play actors yeah? That still from the trailer up there looks all the world like De Niro and Redford to me.

Looking forward to this as much as I do most Tarantino films. I loved Hateful 8, it was a bit long and drawn out but Jennifer Jason Leigh is immense in it.

Dunno. The leather jacket says De Niro to me.

Oh sorry you mean that’s who it’s based on? Yeah could be or Redford as you say.

They play fictional actors – well DiCaprio plays an actor and Brad’s a stunt man.
    Set late 60s early 70s – Steve McQueen/Bullitt era.
    It’s not out til AUGUST!
