    A G16 to be precise. 🙂
Mrs Stu has been eyeing up my longest Geometron for a while now though it’s a bit too big for her.
Fastforwards a bit and she’s had a couple of goes on a mates longer G16 and loved it.
So after a few discussions with Paul at Mojo and a bit of waiting I picked this up.
    G16 longer.
    175 rear 180 front
    XT and saint build.
I think it looks rather fetching in this colour.
Had her first ride on it last night and so far loves it.
Only a local ride but the steep bits we did she looked so much more in control than normal. 😉
Still needs a bit of messing around with bar height/position and maybe a revalve on the fork which Mojo are more than happy to do as many times as it takes to get things perfect.

Weight of the bike or the rider? 😆
33lbs ish on my have no idea how accurate they are luggage scales.

She did yes but was trying to use the Remedy as an xc bike aswell.
Now she has something lighter for that this will be for more robust days.

I would say that was a robust build! Very nice and I am jealous. Which is what you want with a new bike

I can see that these long bikes are going to give you more confidence when just rolling over stuff, but don’t they make it harder to loft the front over things or keep it level off drops etc? Sorry if I’m just going over old ground.

I don’t find that a problem at all.
Takes a very short while to adapt to them then when you try to switch back to a more conventional geo it feels total wrong.
She also managed to clean a steep climb that she normaly can’t.

Looks broken, won’t turn corners uphill, fashion victim, etc, etc.

And a mudguard – oh dear oh dear oh dear….

Nice, I think they look ace.

I really want them to make a ‘trail’ version with, maybe 130mm travel out back and 650b wheels, as the the one I rode at Cannock was great, just to much bike for me.

Well done to your Mrs for choosing a bike, a bike she’ll ride rather than let rust in a shed…

It’s clearly missing a wicker basket and a baby seat, you’d get a full on bread basket on the front and perhaps a lunch table on the rear, complete with foldie out chairs 😀

Piss taking aside, it looks both “robust” and “fit for purpose” and downhill grin inducing.

he has tried to change it to “danglythang-stu” but kept getting inappropriate massages asking after his 7″ of pure front thrusting boingy action.

    awesome looking bike though*

*what the fluff is that shiny black mud guard thing over the front wheel, Has Amanda run over a power ranger and got a bit of them stick in the forks? 😀

Ah yeah, makes sense. Well if she decides it’s not for her and she wants to sell it for a good price to someone who’ll take like 4 months to actually collect it, let me know.

Even after the 4 months you left it until the last minute to collect the last bits. 😀
There’s relaxed about paying for stuff and not collecting it then there’s you. 😛 8)
