Hey folks, my alloy Cube seems to be kicking out a noise from the bottom bracket when i’m using the rear brake. I’ve cleaned the disk and fitted new pads so it’s not that.
If i pull the brake on and rock the bike back and forth it’s making the same sort of harmonic honking noise.
I’ve had a good look and can’t see any cracks in the frame. Is that the sort of problem i’m looking at? If so what does anyone have any experience of using cube’s warranty?

if it literally happens with the bike stationary then I’d look at disk attachment to frame, brake to frame, hub bearings, dropouts rather than BB.

ridign along it’s more likely to be a misalignment.

I’ll have another look, make sure everything is re-greased and lined up then see if it still makes the noise
