- New SPD shoes time…. Suggestions?
Mine are about 10 years old and need replacing, not my only shoes during this time but are the only pair I have now.
I ride trail centres and the peaks mostly. Not looking to walk much in them, but need comfort.
I wear sealskins in the cold/wet, but would still like something I can ride all year as well as commute on.

Great mtb shoe… good for riding and also great for walking in…you need a overshoe for winter but I rate these very highly and I have tried lots of cycling shoes over the years !! A bit over your budget but highly recommended.Posted 4 years agocreagbhanSubscriber
I’ve had a pair of these for about 18 months and very pleased with them. They come in wide as wellPosted 4 years ago
I found that Specialized fitted my feet well, and were OK for comfort and durability.Posted 4 years ago
My favorite shoes (and current ones) are Shimano (M086)- they just seem to fit well (if tad on small side), and seem so robust, grip when walking well and just *work*
