Little bit of a whinge…picked up some lovely looking Uberbike co replacement jockey wheels for my SRAM 11 speed to fit at the same time as replacing the drive train (chaining, cassette and chain).

Had issues indexing the gears, they worked fine before… did the usual check of B screw and upper and lower screws also changed the mech hanger to no avail.

Turns out my mech is bent and twisted, where the previous jockey wheels had lots of side to side play it was hiding the issue, new mech now to add to the bill, bloody £80 online for a 11 speed SRAM Mech! Rant Over

Not really the fault of your new jockeys, repairs showed you had broken more than you thought you had…

Don’t bin the old mech.  You can get replacement cage plates although they aren’t cheap as they’re aimed at the super expensive models.  However, it’s not uncommon to find people flogging mechs they’ve smashed the B screw assembly on for relative buttons.
