After 15 years of service and 8 years of commuting abuse, I decided my Stumpy HT was deserving of some tlc. Some brand new bits, some old bits, and a box of spares too now.

Frame re-paint by Betta Blast in Shiremoor. Can deffo recommend if you’re in the Newcastle area.

Big shout to the good folks of STW for their invaluable spannering advice. First time I’ve ever tried so quite chuffed.

For ref, I tried posting using the photo URL but it went weird, so I clicked on the flickr “share photo” option and just posted the BB code they supplied.

God only knows if this works. And yes, garage floor is not at professional STW standards, nor is paint on the walls or bike storage. Just getting in before anyone else does 🤣🤣

    Bar ends 🤢

Not for everyone, and admittedly do nothing the ‘aesthetics’, but being able to move hands around helps with the arthritis in my hands and wrists. 👍
