The forestry commission are now doing a national pass to all there sites for £94.
As it’s around £60 for a parking pass at one site being able to park at any site for an extra £34 is not bad at all.

It’s good value if you’re a regular. You can register two vehicles also.

We joined a few months ago and we’re not far off breaking even at £10/£7 a pop at my two local forests.

The ANPR cameras work fine and barriers just lift up automatically.

Do Cannock Chase pass holders get a discount?

I’d be tempted if it also included Wales, but lets face it, it won’t 🙂

Barriers? Which car parks have barriers?

Sherwood Pines and Dalby have barriers linked to ANPR.

It would be good if FLS would do the same, I’ve never bothered with a pass because it’s split across too many areas (I’m not actually sure how it’s split).

Add High Lodge at Thetford to the list for ANPR at entry/exit.

Had the renewal through for Cannock – £72 for single site, so went with the £94 for national.
We generally go to Cannock 2-3 times a week and Pines & Grizedale a couple of times a year so pays for itself pretty quickly.

I think FoD was only £40 for the year and includes multiple sites… Considering i’m there at least once a week and often twice, it’s a veritable bargain to me.

I think I’ve already got my moneys worth out of my QECP one, and it means I nip there after work for a quick lap or two much more often (couple of times a week currently at least). That’s the only place I really drive to for riding other than the odd ‘big trip’ to Wales or abroad anyway.
