After falling for the shiny, shiny newness of the Exotic Carbon forks recently, I am about to make the move to fully rigid, but I noticed a potential spanner in the plan last night: The crown is corrected for 100mm suspension and there is no way to hang a front mud guard from.

Before I start playing with cut up inner tube, cable ties and coat hangers, does anyone have any good suggestions of how to attach mudguards to forks?

P clips around the stanctions. And a bung in the steerer if theres a hole and drill through the mudguard with a spacer above. Attach a full length mudguard.

I’m sure someone will add a photo shortly.

Nice. The bung was something that I had not thought of, thanks.

Topeak DeFender works for me (above the knees, anyway).

Toepeak front fender works great on my kinesis forks.

Can’t see Rocketdog’s pics, but another happy Mudhugger user on an Exotic fork. Just drilled a couple of extra holes in the side bits so I could get 2 cable ties round each fork leg. Works lovely, even with a short non/FR one.

Only two zips at each leg, the top holes got covered with black tape.
