It was a mud fest when I was there, but still all rideable and really fun. Definitely worth a trip up there.

Heard rumours a month or so back about Ben’s crash from pals that are local – surprised he kept a lid on it for so long.

Massive relief to hear that the prognosis is about as good as it can be.

Hah, **** me, I crashed in that exact place for pretty much teh same reason- just totally misread it and rode off the edge without even realising it was happening. Main difference is, I was going slowly so I didn’t break all my bits. Not nice at all.

See if that was in France, they’d have just flown up, grabbed him, flown off. We saw them doing an extract at les 2 alpes, no more than 30 minutes since the crash, chopper flying in around the chairlift wires, wheeeee! Made me very keen not to crash.

I came off at that spot a few months back, you are licking on by the time you get there and I’m no world cup racer.

Horrible stuff; especially the brain injury aspect. Hope he makes a full recovery.
