Which segment have you ridden most and what's the total rides on that segment?

Mine is Uncle Fester at Coed y Brenin 160 times!
The total strava rides is 30,004 Attempts By 13,134 People 😯

Cwmcarn final descent, between the berms

42 efforts, 9,585 total.

I'm joint 545th place with a Wu Tang of other riders, it bothers me that at 50 seconds, I can never get top 100, never mind get close to KOM, it was that section that made me stop looking at sector times (until today) because I was taking bigger and bigger risks trying to shave off a second here or there and it was only going to end very badly.

I have 202 recorded at "Fishery to Tree Zone" which is on my way to Rothiemurchus.

Strava tells me there 13,343 attempts by 4,233 people.

I'm currently 15th fastest

If you are use veloviewer then you can sort the segments you have ridden by your personal count of attempts.

Whitely Woods in Sheffield - also 160 attempts, but that's over 2.5% of the total (6,819 Attempts By 1,496 People).

And I'm only 46th - although my latest attempt was my fastest

There are literally thousands on the Chase. Many are in the 150,000+ attempts by 20,000+ people.

Example:

[img] [/img]
Seem to recall that section opened in April 2010. I ride it 2/3 times a week so that's erm hang on ~750 times. Or thereabouts

Don't you need to be a paid up user to do that??

Aah, tried looking on veloviewer - couldn't work out why my most tried segment was only 3 tries.
Turns out it only shows your 250 best ranking segments on the free version - you need to pay £10/yr to see all Strava history! 🙄

Anybody know any properly free equivalents?

VV is £10 a year, much cheaper than Strava Premium. Lots of geeky data like Explorer and Eddington numbers.

Is the upshot that, unless you pay for Veloviewer or Strava Premium, you can't play on this thread? 🙁

Strava premium wont show you either AFAIK.

Edit - it will yay! 112 times down High Voltage.

Unless you know or have a good idea what your most common ride/segment is then it's the easiest way.

You could use the "My Results" bit of Strava to check out a few you think might be in the running as your most-ridden segment.

How?

Mine is probably a cheeky trail at Rivington that I've ridden 167 times.

2,420 Attempts By 520 People - I'm in 5th place

A certain Sam Hill is KOM at 45s, which is 5s ahead of me

He's probably only ridden it once

Not MTB but the I've just checked the road up to my house and I've done that 365 times on Strava, thought it would be more to be honest.

Edit - @ cha****ng, it won't tell you which one, I was just pleased that I didn't have to count it up.
