Morzine lift opening times question

May be staying in Prodains in early July (taking the car again, so access to the general area not a problem). Is the lift from there up to Avoriaz open to mountain bikes in the summer, so that we can then get across to the runs down to Linderates?

yes

No – it’s not this summer… they broke the cable when putting in a new lift nearby (whoops!) – you’ll have to roll down to Morzine and get the Super Morzine bubble up.

You can still finish off the day riding down from Avoriaz, so it’s not too bad.

I’m heading to Morzine in the first week of July this year for the first time – fancy showing myself and a couple of XC/Freeriders around one day?

Haven’t sorted accommodation yet but hoping to find a late apartment deal.
