He does make some perfectly valid points though as usual he does it in such a sanctimonious, miserable way that he will turn people off his message. He reminds me of some notable people on here who you can guarantee will say the opposite to everyone else so consistently that you can’t help but feel that it’s a conscious decision to do so.

I don’t like the British focus that does seem to be creeping into the coverage – certainly more than I recall – though maybe that’s a reflection that we’re doing better so that there are good British performances to focus on.

I still love that we’re doing brilliantly well though and take no issue with the happiness it brings to many people.

If I was Morrisey, and I wanted to make a point about how shite I think the Olympics are, I’d pick now to make it. If I wanted to make a point about anything else, I’d probably wait until GB was back into upcoming winter misery mode. I’m sure he’ll make a few more pronouncements that will piss the likes of hora off because he might have to stop and think about things for a minute.

I should add that, I’m not a fan of his, nor do I agree with everything he has said about the Olympics.
