Ok. I’ve picky teen. I’m needing advice for a monitor. It will be used for a PC  (Homework ha!) and xbox series S. Budget is less than £250. Ideally need I think 4k, HDMI 2.1, 27 inches, 2 hdmi ports and at least 12ohz refresh rate. Any recommendations, as there seems to be so many options!! I’ve access to Costco and student discounts if that helps……

Xbox S doesn’t do 4k, just 1440p if that helps?

Our also picky teen was very happy with this, not 4k but I’m not sure that is really necessary at this size (?)

I’ve used this for 6 months on my PC and happy with it. I think it would be a good match for XBOX duties.  It’s at an even better price now too –  MSI MAG- Amazon

Does it nees 2xHDMI, or can you use 1xHDMI for the x-box and Displayport cable for the PC?

This is £185, but Dell do student discounts on top of that, I can’t remember how much they are.

EDIT:  It doesn’t have built in speakers  – one thing to watch for with gaming monitors is they often don’t have built in speakers, so that could be a problem for the xbox?
