Just got a 2018 rift zone 2 and thinking of a few upgrades if anyone has done similar?

Also the bike feels pretty heavy when trying to haul over a fence does anyone know if the weight is in any components in particular?

Thinking of getting some bigger forks but not sure to go 130mm or 140mm and what forks to get

I’ve got 2018 b17 3 which is about the same thing but came with 27.5+ wheels, GX eagle, superdeluxe and pikes.

I ditched the 27.5+ wheels for a decent set of 29er 30mm internal DT Swiss, much better – and a bit lighter.

Mine came with Pikes up front at 130mm standard, I ditched a token but i’m thinking of going to 140 or 150mm. Not sure if pikes are lighter than recons?

Weight wise theres nowhere to save much really….I really enjoy mine.
