Local Lidl has cheap compressors in stock - small, suitcase-shaped one, it's 1100w.

Has a bike-friendly nozzle amongst other attachments - but is it powerful enough for tubeless applications? Anyone tried it?

How much? Is there a flow rate quoted?

Aha - 180 L/min according to the below.

That looks like it'd do the job. It's more max pressure / flow rate thats the ticket rather than input power rating - a ghetto job with a coke bottle is only 2L of air but in a very short space of time - it's that snap you're after.
Take the valve core out of the presta valve to maximise air flow when fitting, then refit and fill to desired pressure.

They're about £50, aren't they?
I bought one a couple of months ago when they were reduced to twenty odd.
It managed a Conti on to a Superstar rim easily enough. I'm not sure how it'd fair with a difficult to seat tyre/rim combo, though. It'd fill the ghetto bottle easier than the track pump, I'm sure.

Yep, £50

My track pump has sort of given up, so had half an eye on a fancy bontrager pump. But this is cheaper.

It's a bit noisy, but I expected that.
I'm glad I bought it, especially at the price I paid. 🙂

I saw these the other day and was intrigued despite having no need for one. I wonder how much Aldi and Lidl make from impulsive types buying cat bras down the random aisle

Got this today, it is certainly noisy.

Whipped the tubes out of the DH bike, stuck valves and sealant in, and pumped my dual ply Minions up an popped in place in no time. Ace.

As above, might not work for the more troublesome tyres, but it does the trick OK.
