    Boranup, February 2016.

Only one I can find at the moment, taken at Kingsford Smith.

I was immensely hungover. The upgrade was appreciated. 🙂

I wish I had more pics from my time in Oz, but for some reason, I don’t!

Happy memories of driving through Braidwood and Bateman’s Bay. Some superb nights out in Sydney and Melbourne. Lovely place. An odd place, but a lovely place.

Would love to help but my many, many photos aren’t on shareable platform. Will see see what I can do. For me, the most mind-blowing place on the planet. By far.

Its a nice spot at monkey Mia. Didn’t manage much biking on my travels round oz but did pickup a nice bloke on a bike that was hitch hiking. He’d fallen short whilst travelling on to met family so picked him up and dropped him somewhere near Apollo bay.

On the same ride as the first picture. Normally harmless but Mr Muscles is a cane cutter and one had attacked him the previous week.

Black Mountain Rainforest near Port Douglas NQ

If you’ve read Charlie Boorman’s epic, this is one of the crocodile infested creeks he bravely rode through. My brother & I rode the same part of the route on our mtbs and neither of us got ate. 🙂

Sorry for the quality, it’s an old pic now, and that way of life has almost gone.

Ten year this year since I was there, I’d love to go back. Great place, despite every single bit of wildlife wanting to kill you 🙂

Can the mods please close this thread down.

    I’m getting homesick.

Pic taken from my old house on the waterfront

The other side was all mangrove swamp when we moved there, so not too sad to leave. The crocs were better company.

There are some places to avoid in Oz, eg don’t go too close to the farms of the alternative pharmaceutical distributors. It’s not only the animals out to kill you… 🙂
