On a related note, one summer when around 8-10 my mate Bradley jumped on my bmx. He was gone a while so I went looking for him. I found my bmx at the top of his road, abandoned, but with a trail of blood leading away.

Turns out he had leant forwards on the bike, braked and got his wee chap caught in the brake lever. Not quite severing it, but instead leaving it hanging by a thread of skin.
