You know you’re not supposed to put a whole bottle in each tyre? 😉

Why would you put sealant in before seating the tyre?

Remove valve core and use a straight hose. Hit it with more air. Leave sealant till after it’s seated.

What are you planning with the rest of that 5litre tub?!

Well at least it wasn’t in the living room.

You’ve gotta do it without sealant an core out ,just soapy water round the rim just to check it seats, then spunk in an then air go again, whack core in then shuffle shuffle 🙂

If it don’t seat it’s build up rim tape time an see if it’ll work if it’s still being awkward you may need to put belt around it or even run tyre with a tube to get some shape.

Can I ask. Wtf did you do

It looks like he painted it on the outside, instead of putting it in the tyre. Easy mistake, we’ve all done it. 😊

    Wtf did you do?

Probably the standard procedure for these types of threads. Ignore: a) pressure rating on tyre, b) pressure rating on rim, c) instructions of any sort. Then proceed to exceed said ratings by at least a factor of 2 “to properly seat the tyre”.

    Or,

Bored on a Saturday afternoon and seeing what it takes to get turned into an STW meme.

Why would someone try to block a drain with a pint of latex?

    What the hell?

If HD means Hans Dampf then mine go up perfectly easily like all my Schwalbe tyres.

Sealant goes in the tyre, not over the tyre 👍😜

Parkesie had it nailed, removed core and used a small bottle of latex with fine nozzle to fill down the valve, took 5 mins and hardly spilt a drop. All is well, both new tyres up tubeless for the winter. PS – I am severely allergic to latex, just to add to the mix.
