I’m in North Wales this weekend and am looking to do one of these routes on Saturday before a Coed Y Brenin session on Sunday.

Original plan was Penmachno but I understand it’s still closed.

Which one of these do people prefer? Would like to avoid road riding as much as possible.

Or if people have suggestions for any other routes around there (not Marin or Stiniog), please share. Wilderness rides welcome, but a decent amount of singletrack is a must.

Penmachno is now open with just a small diversion around some trail damage.

There has been a lot of rain here in the last month – id avoid natural routes myself. Id personally go to the marin which stands up well to the wet.

Edit. Just noticed you said no marin. Penmachno is open but youll get very wet!!
