Going for standard kitchen units to cut down to fit my camper.
For the top wall cupboards I was going to use wide bridging units, they just fit but the doors are a bit tall, they will just fit but not ideal as they will block the view of the windows when standing up. (Wickes Houston)
Just noticed Homebase have half price units at the moment, can get their Kensal units (bonus is they have finger lips so no handles to catch in the confined space of a camper) and they don’t have bridging units, they have cooker hood cabinets instead. Not so wide but still top opening, but they are a 8cms slimmer in height which will make a big difference.
So, are cooker hood units a perfectly use-able wall cabinet that simply go above a cooker hood, or are they designed to go over the extractor. From the pics it seems they have tops and bottoms, no gaping holes.
