I used to LOVE my mum’s Braised Liver and Onions . . . until one unfortunate day when, by co-incidence, we did a liver dissection in A-level Biology.

    Breakfast is at breakfast time.

    Dinner is always at noon.

Tea is when Pointless has just finished (to miss the Brexit Broadcasting Corporation’s 6PM publicity announcement)

Supper is just before you go to bed, but don’t eat cheese or you won’t sleep.

Supper can mean a light meal before bed. But in some parts of the country it’s interchangeable with Dinner (or even tea) which is an evening meal.

Nandos chicken livers is probably my favourite thing to eat ever!

Howver that liver my mum used to cook with onions (I assume its cows liver) is bloody horrible.

Well yes unless you are on the way home from the pub, then Article kebab is triggered.

I tend to be a lone liver eater, so calves liver is my special treat when I’m on my own.

Liver used to be my favourite meat when I was a kid. Then we didn’t have it for a while. Then I found out what it was…

    Never had it since.

Which is a shame really, because it’s very tasty.

Thats a really weird special treat to have when you’re in on your own slowoldman.

Colp has it, but with the addition of crispy bacon.

Supper is not a meal, its an evening snack usually before bedtime if you’re the civilised sort that has your main meal around 17:30 and not later in the evening like 20:00 or later, as you’re not going to have the munchies at bed time. Supper normally consists of something like a crumpet, ideally with loads of butter and Marmite.

For me dinner is a posh or more formal event, so lunch for lunch, tea for evening meal, supper if I feel like it. But if i’m going out or having people around and making a more formal big deal its a dinner whether its a lunch dinner or evening dinner. The time matters not, there is no right time for dinner time.

I used to think liver was at the bottom of the food chain until someone tried to introduce me to tripe.

One of the advantages of being veggie now is not having to feel conflicted about not eating the whole animal anymore.

That sounds tasty! Wonder if I can get my other half to eat it without realising what it is? She’d probably love that meal, until I mention the word…. “Liver”.    She eats Haggis FFS!! How can liver be “worse” than that??
