I was chasing good feeling Code R’s but it was really tough to get it to stay good, mine were the newer ones with the bleeding edge tool. A buddy had an older pair re bleeding edge tool and they would stay nicer for longer between bleeds.
I ended up picking up RSC front and rear and they were head and shoulders above the RSC’s IMO, also needed very little upkeep since having them now for several years. Recently I did also go to 220mm rotors front and rear and this was another noticeable step up in power and modulation.
I think the whole Code range uses the same calipers so new full levers should just gone on but will need a bleed and olive a piece.
