STW does seem to inform an alarming number of my purchases these days. Ok it's not a vintage Omega but I wanted something for those occasions when one doesn't want thousands of pounds on their wrists 🙂

[img] [/img]

For a little over a hundred quid I'm very pleased indeed with it. Recommended!

Edit: ... and yes I know i have lady like wrists!

It's all gone a bit Cath Kidston on your desk.

Like the watch.

You took the photo on a kid's desk to make your lady wrists look bigger then? 😉

Nice watch BTW.

Looks suspiciously like a button cuff shirt. On a Wednesday? Shocking.

Nice watch, though. Subtle, understated. I like.

Did you shave your hands just for the photo?

I really need to have words with my dresser!

Did you shave your hands just for the photo?

That cream gets everywhere when doing my legs 🙂

That's why I love my Seiko.

or if you have the same one as the OP;

🙂 It is now telling me it's halfway between 2 and 4 o clock.

After a morning of wearing it, despite this obvious omission, I am very happy indeed with it. Does seem a lot of watch for the cash.

Know what you mean, which is why I really like my SPORK, the stock face has the date just below the four marker, so it has numerals at 12, 3, 6, and 9.
The Yokobies mod, has a face like the SPORK, with offset date.

I had the glass on my Seiko replaced. I then accidentally put it through the washing machine. It still works. 😀

That would appear to be the STW Watch du Jour right now!

Admit it, you're all copying me. 🙂

Single cuff shirt.
Ladylike hand.
Slender wrist.
Pseudo-military watch.

Yup. Very STW.

Indeed. Lets hope we don't all meet on an STW ride and someone asks what the time is....

Single cuff shirt.

Regarding the shirt, it was a back of the wardrobe job. I usually work from home so it's not often I'm even dressed at that early hour of the morning.

Hands and wrists that ladylike and you call it work?
I see Higgo also appears to dress himself at that famous designer store Mat Alan. He likes the corduroy tho.

Ioddrik, I can't help but have a mental vision of Van Damme, up a mountain, drinking some unfeasably cold, tasteless lager when I look at that photo. I have no idea why.
And higgo, there's three completely different watches in those photos, and I'm not sure all are Seikos.
Or if they are they're serious custom mods.

that loddrik appears to be quite a sweaty chap.

It's probably having to cope with the weight of the watch 😉

Tbh that isn't my hand/watch, it was just to show the watch. Here's one of mine, with cat added in, as I may as well be wearing her too for all the space she gives me..

Two are straight Seiko, SKZ209 (Land Shark) and SRP311 (Sharptooth Monster). The other is a 'Fifty Five Fathoms' mod of an SNZH53. The only things changed are the dial, hands, bezel insert, crystal, caseback and strap.

Explains it! 😀 Who did the mods? Yokobies? I like the bezel with lume added.
