[Closed] Hope lock-on grips

I know I am late to the party, but these grips have been sitting in a drawer for a year or so and I only installed them a couple of weeks ago.
Long story short, the bike fell off from a standing position. Between the "Optimised CNC'd billet aluminium slip-free locking mechanism with all unnecessary material removed" and the "Integrated CNC'd billet aluminium bar ends", the bars ended up looking like this:

I know it's not much, but I would have expected the [url= ]caps[/url] to (at least) not make the situation worse that it already was. Needless to say, the design flaw has been since fixed:
