Where do you buy your ingredients from?

I’ve just ordered a load of stuff from Hop and Grape after sifting through a number of websites which look like they had been designed in the 70’s by an A level student.

Any recommendations for a good company which also has a decent website, or is Hop and Grape OK?

My local shop doesn’t have much in the way of interesting ingredients.

Next two brews are a Theakston’s OP and Anchor Porter clone 🙂

Quite addictive this brewing malarkey eh??

last three are homebrewers who started up their own one-man companies, good prices!
First one is a good seller, one of the largest homebrew retailers in the country (convenient that it’s within walking distance of my house 🙂 )

Oh, H&G are a great bunch also!

Nah they pretty much all look like that.

    I’ve used DorsetHomebrew.co.uk and the Homebrewshop.co.uk

    Both look pretty crap.

The better designed websites I’ve stumbled across tend to be more expensive anyway.

Doh! Just realised that I ordered from The Home Brew Shop in the end, not H&G! All those techno pastel coloured websites must have been making me dizzy 🙂

Barley Bottom and the Malt Miller for me. Good guys to deal with and top prices. Used H&G when I first started but seem expensive now!

    +1 for

If you live anywhere near Aldershot, it’s a great shop.

BTW http://www.jimsbeerkit.co.uk is a must visit site – a bit like STW for brewers…
