First one is a good seller, one of the largest homebrew retailers in the country (convenient that it’s within walking distance of my house 🙂 ) Oh, H&G are a great bunch also! Posted 4 years ago richmtbSubscriber Nah they pretty much all look like that. I’ve used DorsetHomebrew.co.uk and the Homebrewshop.co.uk Both look pretty crap. The better designed websites I’ve stumbled across tend to be more expensive anyway. Posted 4 years ago peterfileMember Doh! Just realised that I ordered from The Home Brew Shop in the end, not H&G! All those techno pastel coloured websites must have been making me dizzy 🙂 Posted 4 years ago jamieaMember Barley Bottom and the Malt Miller for me. Good guys to deal with and top prices. Used H&G when I first started but seem expensive now! Cheers, Jamie Posted 4 years ago albinoMember I’ve used these guys – very helpful and have a good forum too. http://www.brewuk.co.uk/store/ Posted 4 years ago peterfileMember Where do you buy your ingredients from? I’ve just ordered a load of stuff from Hop and Grape after sifting through a number of websites which look like they had been designed in the 70’s by an A level student. Any recommendations for a good company which also has a decent website, or is Hop and Grape OK? My local shop doesn’t have much in the way of interesting ingredients. Next two brews are a Theakston’s OP and Anchor Porter clone 🙂 Quite addictive this brewing malarkey eh?? Posted 4 years ago john_drummerMember What albino said. But mostly from my LHBS – http://www.morleyhomebrewcentre.com Posted 4 years ago jon1973Member +1 for http://www.the-home-brew-shop.co.uk/ If you live anywhere near Aldershot, it’s a great shop. Posted 4 years ago john_drummerMember BTW http://www.jimsbeerkit.co.uk is a must visit site – a bit like STW for brewers… Posted 4 years ago Viewing 9 posts - 1 through 9 (of 9 total) The topic ‘Home brewers…’ is closed to new replies.
