    So, a friend is planning a trip to Europe (ride down/fly back).

    Is there any way anyone knows of to hire bike boxes for the return leg?

    Email a local bike shop in the final destination and ask about getting a cardboard bike box or even 2 to extra pad it. Most v helpful.
