    Hi,

I’ve got a set of Ultimate brakes that have been sitting in a box for several years. Got them out today with the intention of putting them in a newish to me build.
Cut a long story short, the levers are sticking so I thought I give it a service. I can’t get it back together. I have the plastic alignment tool but I can’t work out how to engage the adjustment ring.
Can anyone link an easy to follow explanation?
    Thanks

    The SRAM website is Ace

YouTube is also ace. I did some SRAM brakes, replaced the lever internal plastic parts with alloy ones. You need the right tools.

Thanks for the reply’s. I have the right tools for the ultimates. The issue I’m having is, I believe that I’m following the correct procedure everything goes back together ok. But when I adjust the contact point the adjuster seems to fall off the internal bits and (for want of a better words) flaps around.
I had it apart and rebuilt it around 4 times yesterday afternoon. So flippin frustrating
