i put folding tubeless WTB Nano 2.1s on my Vagabond the other week and am impressed with them for mixed off road terrain. Much better than the wired OEM ones it came with.

Teravail Sparwood’s, fast rolling and grippy.

G-ones for tarmac speed….. Maxxis ramblers for off road speed.

I’m running Kenda Kozmik Lite II tyres on my Swift; it functions as a sort of gravel bike but isn’t really a speed machine. The Kozmiks are surprisingly good in a variety of on and off road conditions.

I am however sorely tempted by a pair of Vittoria Terreno Cross Country tyres, but I’ve no experience of them yet.

WTB Nano 40’s for me – surprisingly good on front – can’t fit it on the back wheel with super tight clearances on a 26″ frame and 29er wheels….

That’s what I use, only 2.35″. Also the G-One.

If you have the clearance get the biggest volume you can, then you don’t need tread so much because the tyre conforms to the surface (assuming you’re taking advantage of the large volume and running a low pressure).
