So I’m off on my holidays to Solva for a week (one bay short of St Davids) and am 3 weeks out from ScotDuro (330km gravel enduro race over 2 days).

Andy recommendations for routes in the area? Thanks to work trips I’m more concerned about time in the saddle than technical trails, so if reams of singletrack or fire roads aren’t to be had I’ll make do with some Welsh tarmac!

There’s next to no ‘gravel’ in the area but lots of quiet back roads. Follow the coast in either direction up to Fishguard and down to Dale, or head up into the Preselli hills. It’s all good.

lots of quiet backroads with the odd rocky/ gravelly bridleway section. some over grown grass horse damaged bridleways as well. might be worth a day trip to brechfa forest?
