Does putting a riser bar or increasing stack height have the same effect with geometry as increasing front travel?   I know with more travel you obviously have more travel lol just a thought.

No, you are putting the extra height on the wrong side to change the HA and lift the front of the bike up. The front wheel will still be in the same place in relation to the rest of the bike where as with a longer fork that all changes

Wot he said, it won’t raise the BB or slacken the head angle, it will just adjust your body position.

And look daft if you put too many spacers on.

And break the steerer tube unless you buy a Thorn (with their criminally long spacer stacks).

No, but it’ll reduce your weight over the front wheel,  whether  this is good or bad depends on where your starting from.
