Was listening to this earliest today, great song, but wonderful bass playing:

if you can track it down, there was a great program (on Sky Arts maybe) about the Graceland album; interviews with Paul Simon, some of the musicians, the sound engineers and so on with access to the studio tapes to listen to the various parts. It’s great for the stories but also just the sheer enjoyment of the South African musicians playing on the recording, including that bass part.

There’s a few good albums in that series actually (Classic Albums)
