Fitted an axle conversion kit to a Fulcrum Racing zero wheel. Kit is Campag to allow fitment of Ekar 13 speed freehub / cassette.

All seems fine until I torque up the end caps then the freehub locks. Back off quarter turn and all is okay

I-Ride (Fulcrum distributor) told me the Campag kit would work.

Any ideas? Can I ride it with end caps slightly loose (axle would keep it all together??!?), file a bit off inside of an end cap / end of axle? Or have I got the wrong part?

Defo no missing spacer? That is the usual issue.

Washer between freehub and hub ?

Yep sound like the washer/spacer is missing

I thought washer too but no washer came out with the old freehub, there’s no washer in the kit, and no washer shown in the assembly manual……………… confused!

Sorted. Had gasket on end of freehub wrong way round!
